Učešće u realizaciji Rufford projekta Zaštita šumskih mrava BiH/ Participated in the realization of the Small Grant Rufford project B&H

Udruženje BIO.LOG je tokom 2014. godine učestvovalo u realizaciji Rufford projekta Zaštita šumskih mrava u Bosni i Hercegovini. Projektne aktivnosti vršene su na području planina Trebević i Ozren kod Sarajeva. Cilj projekta je zaštita četinarskih šuma kao primarnih staništa vrsta Formica rufa i F. polyctena. Projekat Zaštita šumskih mrava u Bosni i Hercegovini je u fazi promoviranja važnosti očuvanja staništa smrče i jele koje su pogođene visokim temperaturama i infestacijom potkornjakom što ima za posljedicu sušenje ovih šuma i njihov nestanak u Bosni i Hercegovini. Participated in the realization of the Small Grant Rufford project

Association BIO.LOG during 2014 participated in the realization of the Small Grant Rufford project: Protection of wood ants in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Project activities were carried out in the area of mountain Trebević and Ozren, near Sarajevo. The project objective is the protection of conifer forests as primary habitats for species Formica rufa and F. polyctena. The Project is in the phase of promoting the importance of preserving the habitats of spruce and fir that are affected by high temperatures and infestation of bark beetles which results in drying of these forests and their disappearance i Bosnia and Herzegovina.
